1. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA across this website. Accessibility is checked on every change rather than reviewed occasionally, because a page that was accessible last quarter is not a useful promise.
This statement describes www.new-dynamics.com. The application at app.new-dynamics.com is a separate product and is not covered here.
2. How it is tested
Our automated checks run against the published build and have to pass before a change can be merged.
- Automated rules: axe-core against the WCAG 2.0 A and AA, 2.1 AA and 2.2 AA rule sets, on the homepage, the platform and feature pages, a guide, the resource library, the integrations directory and the demo form. Zero violations are permitted.
- Three widths: every one of those pages is checked at 1440, 768 and 390 pixels, and a page that scrolls sideways at 390 pixels fails.
- Keyboard: the header menus and the feature tabs are opened, moved through with the arrow keys and closed with Escape by keyboard alone. The download dialog keeps focus inside itself and returns it when closed.
- Without JavaScript: page content, links and structured data are in the HTML, and a template can be downloaded with scripting switched off.
- Structure: one first-level heading per page, headings in order, every image carrying alternative text, and visible focus outlines.
3. What this statement does not claim
Automated rules catch a useful share of problems and miss others, so here is what we have not done.
- There has been no independent accessibility audit of this website. We have not been assessed by a third party and we do not hold a certificate.
- We have not tested with every combination of screen reader, browser and operating system. If a specific combination matters to you, tell us which one.
- Our guide PDFs are generated documents. We have not verified that each one is fully tagged for a screen reader, so ask us if you need a guide in another format and we will provide the text.
- Video players use the browser’s own controls, and the product films do not currently carry captions or a transcript.
4. Telling us about a problem
If something on this site is difficult or impossible to use, write to contact@new-dynamics.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what happened, and the browser and assistive technology you were using if you know. We will reply and tell you what we can fix and when.
If you need a page, a guide or a template in a different format, ask and we will send the content in a form you can use.
5. For a tender or supplier assessment
Public sector and university buyers usually need this in writing with their own wording. Send us your accessibility questions and we will answer them against what is tested above, and say plainly where the answer is that we have not tested something.
Our security page, our GDPR page and our certification page cover the other questions that arrive with an accessibility questionnaire.
