CAREERS AT NEW DYNAMICS

Careers at New Dynamics.

We are a Bristol company building performance management software, and we are growing the teams that put it in place and sell it. Every role open now is in customer support or sales.

Working here.

Small enough that you are heard

Bring back what a customer or a market needs and you will be talking to the people who build the product, not filing a request. Where the answer is not yet, we say so on the call.

Bristol at the centre

New Dynamics LTD is a Bristol company, and the product, engineering and implementation teams are here. The sales regions are built out from Bristol, and everyone spends time in the office with the people they work with.

Honest about what the product does

We do not publish a capability, a customer or a price we cannot stand behind, on this website or in a sales call. That rule is written down, and it holds when it is inconvenient.

Evidence before instinct

How we sell and what we write comes out of a decade of recorded conversations with HR buyers: the words they use, the objections they raise and the order those arrive in.

Where we work.

Bristol, United Kingdom

The head office, at 1 Clifton Down Road. Product, engineering and the implementation team are here, and every role on this page spends time in Bristol.

United States

Austin, Atlanta and Miami. The region is being opened now, so the first people in it shape how we sell there rather than inheriting a playbook.

Europe

Amsterdam, Munich and Dublin. English is the working language between teams, and the selling is done in the language of the market.

Asia

Singapore and Tokyo. Two markets to start with, chosen deliberately rather than a whole continent at once.

Pay and benefits.

We do not publish pay ranges on this page. We do publish what the package contains, and you get the range for your role and location at the first interview, before we ask you anything about what you earn today.

  • Equity in New Dynamics, for every role on this page.
  • A base salary and a commission or bonus plan, both set out in writing before you accept.
  • Benefits arranged in the country you work in, rather than a British package applied abroad.
  • Paid holiday, plus the public holidays where you are based.
  • A laptop, a telephone and the tools the role needs.
  • Time in Bristol with the product and engineering team.

How we hire.

Applying for a job is work, and most of it is unpaid. These are the things you can hold us to.

  • Every application is read by a person, not filtered by a keyword.
  • You get the pay range for your role and location at the first interview, before we ask anything about what you earn today.
  • We tell you who you will meet and what each conversation is for before the first interview is booked.
  • You get an answer either way, and a reason if you ask for one.

How we use AI in hiring.

We build AI into a performance product, so we are careful about where it belongs in hiring. The rule is the same one we apply to reviews: AI can draft, a person decides.

Use AI to help you write if you want to. We are not going to police it. What we will do is ask about a real deal or a real implementation you worked on, and expect the detail only somebody who was there would have.

  • A person reads every application. We do not use AI to score, rank or reject anyone.
  • No decision about your application is made automatically, and no AI interview replaces a conversation with us.
  • Your CV and covering note are not used to train a model.

Open roles.

Each listing says where the role is based, how it works, what you would do and what we are looking for. Apply from the listing itself.

Implementation Specialist

Customer SupportBristol, United KingdomFull time · Hybrid, Bristol office

Take a new customer's own appraisal form and build their review cycle in the platform.

What you would do

  • Configure forms, stages, participants and reminders to match the process the customer already runs.
  • Import the organisation structure and reporting lines, including dotted lines and project leads.
  • Move a customer off a spreadsheet and Word forms without losing the history they care about.
  • Train the HR team and the managers who have to complete the cycle.
  • Write down what was configured, so support and the next specialist can follow it.

What we are looking for

  • Has configured an HR, finance or operations system for customers, or run a process like this inside an organisation.
  • At home in a spreadsheet, and willing to read somebody else's appraisal form closely.
  • Explains a configuration choice to a non-technical HR lead without jargon.
  • In Bristol or within reach of the office.

Senior Implementation Specialist

Customer SupportBristol, United KingdomFull time · Hybrid, Bristol office

Lead the difficult implementations and set the pattern the rest of the team follows.

What you would do

  • Own the implementations with matrix reporting, several review cycles or an awkward migration.
  • Scope the work with the customer before anything is configured, and say plainly what is not possible yet.
  • Build the templates and checklists the team reuses, instead of starting each customer from nothing.
  • Join the pre-sales calls where the replication test needs somebody who has done it.

What we are looking for

  • Several years implementing HR or business software for customers.
  • Has handled a migration that went wrong, and can say what they changed afterwards.
  • Writes documentation other people actually use.
  • Comfortable telling a customer no, with a reason and an alternative.

Implementation Lead

Customer SupportBristol, United KingdomFull time · Hybrid, Bristol office

Run the Bristol implementation team and the queue of work in front of it.

What you would do

  • Plan the team's work against what sales is closing in the United States, Europe and Asia.
  • Hire and coach the specialists, and carry a few implementations yourself.
  • Own the handover from sales and the handover to support, so nothing is dropped between them.
  • Report honestly on how long an implementation really takes, including when that is longer than anyone promised.

What we are looking for

  • Has led a customer-facing implementation, onboarding or professional services team.
  • Can hold a timeline with a customer and with an account executive on the same day.
  • Has built a handover that worked, and can describe why it worked.
  • Based in Bristol.

Customer Support Specialist

Customer SupportBristol, United KingdomFull time · Hybrid, Bristol office

Answer the questions that arrive once a review cycle is live, and fix the configuration behind them.

What you would do

  • Work the queue for HR teams and managers in the middle of a cycle, when a deadline is close.
  • Work out whether the answer is training, a configuration change or a defect, and route it accordingly.
  • Hold the implementation knowledge for a customer after handover, so they do not start again with a stranger.
  • Turn a repeated question into help material and into product feedback.

What we are looking for

  • Has supported business software users, ideally in HR.
  • Writes an answer that is clear the first time.
  • Stays calm with somebody whose deadline is tomorrow.
  • Willing to cover European and some American hours from Bristol.

  • Tell Bristol what the market actually asks for, including the questions we answer badly.

What we are looking for

  • Carried a regional number for B2B software in North America.
  • Hired and coached at least two sellers.

  • Can hold a price without reaching for a discount.
  • Writes short, clear follow-up that a buyer can forward internally.
Apply for this role

SalesMiami, Florida, United StatesFull time · Office based, Miami

Your questions, answered.

Why is there no salary on this page?

We do not publish pay ranges here. You get the range for your role and location at the first interview, before we ask you anything about what you earn now. The package itself is set out above: a base salary, a commission or bonus plan, benefits and equity in the business.

Which teams are you hiring for?

Customer support, where our implementation specialists sit, and sales. The implementation roles are in Bristol with the product and engineering team. The sales roles are in the markets they cover. Other openings appear on this page when they exist, so this is the page to watch.

Are these roles remote?

Each listing says where the role is based and how it works, because the pattern differs by role. Some are hybrid with an office, some are office based. We are not a fully remote company: implementation work needs the product team nearby, and the sales roles are built around being near the buyers they sell to.

Can you sponsor a visa or work permit?

Tell us your position in the form and we will give you a straight answer for that location before you spend time on an interview. Do not rule yourself out without asking.

What should I send with my application?

A CV as a PDF, up to 4 MB. Add a covering note in the form if you want to, though it is optional. Please do not send a photograph, a portfolio or any reference to your current employer's confidential information.

What happens after I apply?

Your application goes to the team, not to an inbox nobody reads, and you get a reply either way. If we take it forward we set out the full process and the people you will meet before the first interview is booked.

Send us your CV.

Choose the role, attach your CV as a PDF and tell us why you want it. Every application gets a reply.

Avoiding recruitment fraud

Every role we are hiring for is listed on this page. We write from new-dynamics.com addresses only, we never ask for money, bank details or identity documents before a written offer, and we do not interview on messaging apps. If something claiming to be from us does any of those things, it is not us. Forward it to contact@new-dynamics.com.
